Our chapter in the textbook, Signed Language Interpreting in the 21st Century explains how interpreters can learn to make decisions based on values instead of rules (Dean & Pollard, 2018).
It also serves as a helpful compliment to the DC-S textbook by offering a series of values unique to community interpreters (as we suggest is needed in chapter 6).
In addition to that chapter, I have created a study guide and quiz to help students better understand the chapter.
