DC-S "Deep Dive" & Case Analysis
with Robyn Dean
"One-and-done" workshops rarely offer interpreters the time and opportunity to apply new information to their practice. I often hear from workshop participants that they would have liked more examples and more time to apply the analytic components of DC-S to their own practice. However, most workshops are designed to be on-offs, or completed in one day, or in one weekend. In the last few years, I have been proposing a different design to workshops -- shorter with more live segments that are spread out over a few weeks.
I am very pleased to announce that the Wisconsin RID chapter (WSRID) in conjunction with WI Department of Health Services, WI Board for the Evaluation of Interpreters and Hear Wisconsin have taken me up on the offer!

The pre-training activity along with the application activities during the live sessions will help to jog your memory. If you're an ITP student (or newly graduated) and you were introduced to the DC-S basics, this training is also a fit for you!
